The Model-2 series are the second generation of Soundfidelity SDAP. These are high quality digital audio player/recorders based on personal computer technology. The design philosophy and technology are completely same as Model-1.

SoundFidelity Model-2 Type-A is the high-end version of the Model-2 series. We adopted SSD (Solid State Drive) as mass storage device instead of conventional HDD (Hard Disc Drive). Since SSD has no mechanical actuator, we could make Model-2 silent and small more than Model-1.
You can enjoy high definition digital multimedia sources by the high performance CPU without fan-noise. The chassis of the Model-2 series has no fans!
On Type-B, we used the low-power CPU and single HDD with the special HDD support construction. This combination allows us not only a cost reduction but also ensuring a large storage area. You can store almost 3000 CDs in HDD as many as Model-1. The chassis of Type-B is also simple, silent and fully fan-less like Type-A.
Type-B focuses on the customer who enjoys simply digital sounds.
